Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification for Indian Forest Service Exam 2011 (IFS Exam 2011). Exam will be commencing from 9th July, 2011.
Details : Age : Must have attained 21 years and must not have attained 30 years as on 01/07/2011, Relaxation as per Govt rules.
Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university with at least one subject of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology (OR) Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry (OR) in Engineering (OR) an equivalent qualification.
Fees : Candidates from Specified Remote Areas applying Online are required to submit fee Rs.100 through SBI bank or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card. Candidates from Specified Remote Areas applying Offline are required to submit application fee Rs.200 through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp. There is no fee for Female/SCs/STs/Physically Handicapped candidates
