Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) is a Government of India Enterprise under Department of Atomic Energy (India), established in 1967 by Dr. A. S. Rao to create a strong indigenous base in electronics. ECIL is presently a multi-product, multi disciplinary organization with focus on nuclear energy, space and defence sectors.
ECIL also has a strong presence in electronic security, communications, networking and e-governance domains. ECIL has committed partnerships with nuclear energy establishments of India, particularly Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) and Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR).
ECIL also actively supports other strategic sectors such as defence (Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO)), space (Department of Space (India)),civil aviation, information and broadcasting, telecommunications, insurance, banking, police, and para-military Forces, oil and gas, power, space education, health, agriculture, steel and coal.

Name of Post : Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET)
No. of Vacancies : 122 Posts
Age Limit : 25 Years (as on 31.10.2010)
Pay Scale : Rs.23800-46500/- P.M.
Qualification : 1st Class Engineering Degree with minimum 65% marks in aggregate from AICTE approved colleges / recognized Indian Universities in the relevant discipline.
Application Fee : Rs.200/- for GEN/OBC candidates & NO APPLICATION FEE is charged for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Mode of Selection : The Selection Process will be through a Written Test & Interview.
Written Test : Written Test will be covering the Syllabus of Engineering degree of respective discipline's.
Interview : Only Selected Candidates from written test will be called for interview at Hyderabad.
